Tierra Nativa Travel is a local company founded in 2023 with a mission to offer authentic, safe experiences that are deeply connected to the region of northern Chile. We began by transporting and guiding travelers in the San Pedro de Atacama area and throughout the First Region, covering destinations such as Iquique, Pica, Pintados, Mamiña, and La Tirana. Since then, we have grown while always maintaining the same commitment: to provide personalized, responsible service grounded in local knowledge.

Over time, we’ve refined our core focus: guided tours around San Pedro de Atacama, exploring some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world’s driest desert. Today, we offer comprehensive experiences that include iconic sites such as the Valley of the Moon, the Altiplano Lagoons, the Tatio Geysers, the Hidden Lagoons of Baltinache, Laguna Cejar, the Rainbow Valley, and many other hidden gems that reveal the natural and cultural richness of the Atacama.

One of our most unique services is Andean Astronomy, an experience that combines stargazing with the ancestral worldview of the indigenous peoples. Under one of the clearest skies on the planet, our guides share stories, symbols, and knowledge that explain how ancient Andean cultures interpreted the stars, natural cycles, and their spiritual connection to the universe. This activity allows travelers to connect with the living history of the desert and understand the profound relationship between the sky, the earth, and the Atacameño culture.

Our team consists of local guides and experienced drivers who are committed to providing safe, high-quality service. We have our own vehicles, equipped to handle desert conditions and ensure comfort on every trip. In addition, we provide satellite internet, ensuring constant communication even in the most remote areas.
